Hiya. Been a while.

Check THIS site out. It’s kind of an interactive story where we are Hogwarts students participating in a “Hunger Games” for OldBaldVoldie. I’m currently obsessing  over it, when I should be studying for the second day of our Midterm exams. Gah. Will just study tomorrow while I ride a jeep to school. :)

Busy, busy, weekend.

Mu only rest day this semester and I have a whole lot of stuff to do, most of which were past assignments I postponed for later.. later came a bit too soon.

We were supposed to attend a practice session earlier today for our school’s field demonstration next week. Along with my three girl friends, and other guys in our class, we decided not to attend. Some just preferred not to; some of us decided it was time that we work on our school papers. I have three sets of worksheets (Zoology, English and Physics) that need answering, all at about 20 pages. I also have a research paper for Physics due next week.. Oh, and if I may add, our midterm examinations begin this Tuesday as well… Oh, boy. -__-’

Well, after our Midterms will be.. our busy month. The first Sunday, we will spend at a local field for the celebration of our university’s foundation day.. and all three campuses/branches will be participating. The following week is our DEADline week, when we will be handing in almost all our pending activities. That Sunday, the Philippine Dental Association will be holding their ‘Dental Health Month’s’ Fun Run, and us dentistry students are obligated to attend, although I am quite looking forward to it.. :)

And of course, projects are to be expected this month, and the following. Finals will come late March.. but before that, there’s still my 17th birthday on the 1st. Sigh. I’m predicting it to be a sad, dull day.. Yupp, it’s a Thursday.. meaning I’ll be at school that day; WORSE.. is that it’ll be one of those get-up-before-dawn days since I have to be at school at 7 in the morning, and there’s still a half-hour commute away from school, and that our second subject that day will be Filipino.. and I just hate our Filipino prof. Ugh.:|

Marriage.

When I was young, I’ve always told myself I wanted to get married early, so that when I have kids, I won’t be too old to handle them. But now that I’ve grown up a bit, I realized that I do not want this any more (especially after my recent break up). I want to explore my life more, maybe even travel the world if I get the chance.. :)

Yes, I agree.. partly. :)

So I was chatting with one of my high school best friends about this guy I like, and then she told me about the one she’s been crushing on these past few days. Gosh, we have such similar taste in guys.. older, white, tall and cute. Yeah, I told her about the guy I met yesterday at the dog show. Still waiting to meet him again, though, but I’m losing hope. :( But what the hell, maybe it was just a chance meeting and was never meant to be followed up by another. There’s probably someone else out there for me, right? ;)

Anyway, back to the topic. When  I was young, I’ve always resented the idea of being with someone younger than me. I don’t know why, I guess it was just the thought of having that one, sucky day wherein people might ask you “How old are you?” and I’d have to say my age, and when they ask the age of my boyfriend, I’d have to say his age which would be a number lower than mine. I didn’t care back then if it was even for just a year, or a few months, or weeks, a day, a minute, I DIDN’T CARE! All I knew, especially back then, was that, men should be older than their women partners.. not in a sexist way.. just the sweet way, if you know where I’m getting at.

But as I grew up, I’ve begun to hear of circumstances wherein guys were actually younger than their girlfriends or wives, and I began to accept that it was actually sometimes normal, lol :P So, yeah, I started to accept the whole idea of it, the fact that guys can be younger than their girls.. but I never really came around the idea of ME being with a guy younger than me. Just.. ugh. Even up ’til now.. I just can’t. :)

Well, there was this ONE time.. that I became involved with someone four (4) months younger than me.. he was actually my first.. ‘serious’ type of fling. Ironic, huh? :P But, yeah.. after that, I started crushing on a lot of younger guys: friends, schoolmates, super cute preschool kids, celebrities, stuff like that.. But I don’t really think I will end up with someone younger than me, by choice.. Well, we never really know  with destiny’s flow.. at least what I do know in my current mindset is that I’d still rather not.
